LETTERS FROM GRANDPA ®

Preparing America’s Future
By Preparing America’s Youth

Dr. Gary K. Walker, a retired college administrator, has written a book for people of all ages to include parents, grandparents, guardians, and youth from elementary to college age. It contains “letters” that suggest positive approaches in dealing with issues and challenges common to people of all ages. Dr. Walker states “By emphasizing strong character development and practical approaches to making effective decisions, the youth of America is better prepared to deal with the issues and challenges of growing into productive and useful citizens.” The book is colorful with illustrations to introduce the letters and a humorous wit that makes the book a delightful experience for the reader.

Dr. Walker used his extensive background in education, public service, and his experience as a parent and grandparent to present topics that are appropriate and timely to share with parents, guardians, and youth of all ages. So what is the book about?
